New gear to get on the road with

Well it was exciting to get new cycle challenge clothing delivered from Tineli, and even a couple of fine days to wear it also!

The sizing chart is pretty accurate but I did order larger than I would of liked (need to train harder) no seriously a friend also orders larger in this brand.

I went to Wellington a little while ago and at this stage even Taupo to Turangi seems a long way...not to mention how daunting the legendary Hatepe Hill looks right now. The lake levels are low and it was a real winters day...hard to realise at this stage that in 3 months it will be hot and Hatepe will be a breeze.( sort of )

So that tells us that I definitely need more hill training so this weekend I took on a couple of the smaller hills of the course slowly but successfully despite the legs complaining after.

Really looking forward to a spring September to gain longer rides and finding the hills easier!
