All signed off and signed up

So we have been lucky to have a reasonably dry June, but cold! There is some good looking snow on the mountain and the lake is stunning also as we have had some lovely sunny days.

I’ve managed to get out for a few short rides over the month despite the shorter days.

The biggest news for me personally was getting signed off from the surgeon mid month as I had a major Achilles reconstruction surgery last October that I’m still re building strength from. Thankfully cycling is something that he recommends.

So I’ve now entered Cycle Challenge also, hoping to make it all the way around the lake. This will be my 12th time round and I’ve ridden 2 “ half the lake “ also. I don’t feel at this stage that I’ll be getting any personal best times but who knows what the next few months will bring.

This early on is also a good time to just be getting out there, and I enjoyed a social ride with friends also. Hopefully by the end of July I’ll be riding regularly and for longer!
