A rolling and punchy route will give you the opportunity to enjoy one of New Zealand’s most picturesque regions to ride, around the Southern Hemisphere’s largest lake.

This course on FulGaz features the full 160km of the famous 160km 99 Bikes Round the Lake – a one-lap circumnavigation of Lake Taupō.

We’ve broken the route up into four sections to help riders prepare for the annual pilgrimage to one of New Zealand’s longest and most established events, celebrating its 44th running in 2022!

The BDO Lake Taupō Cycle Challenge is Zealand’s largest cycling occasion, and arguably one of the country’s largest sports participation events is again looking forward to welcoming over 5,000 riders and over 7,000 supporters to the region on Saturday 26 November 2022.
