Can you cycle for heart kids?

To continue to provide free support to over 10,000 members – Heart Kids NZ need’s your help.

”Heart Kids to us is family. Without Heart Kids I don’t think we would be where we are now.” 

This week 12 Kiwi families will be told their child has a heart condition – Heart Kids NZ will be there
to provide vital support to all those impacted by a childhood heart condition, but we need your help.

Heart Kids NZ is not government funded. To continue providing free support to our growing database, which is currently over 10,000 members, we rely on the generosity of kind-hearted Kiwi’s willing to fundraise for us.

Will you join our team of fundraising cycling heart heroes? There is no prevention or cure for a childhood heart condition so we need to ensure we can continue to be there to support families as the need in our communities grows.

Income raised by donations and fundraising helps us to be able to plan for the future, to know we can support families like Aiden’s. Aiden, pictured above, was born with a childhood heart condition - If it wasn’t for the support of Heart Kids NZ, and the backing of his wife Tash, John O’Leary isn’t sure how he would have coped looking after his son Aiden.

“Heart Kids NZ were instrumental in keeping me going to keep him going,” John says.

receive free vital support through every step of their heart journey.

I was born in Canada, and grew up around Vancouver and the mountains of British Columbia. My love of pristine environments led me to New Zealand and eventually to the mountains, lakes and rivers of the central North Island which is home. My family’s heritage is here, and it’s from here that Korio traverses the planet.
