You’re invited - Facebook Live ‘From the Pro’s Perspective’

Join our Facebook Live 🗓 29 August 2023 at 7pm with guests pro cyclist Bryony Botha and pro mountain biker Sammie Maxwell! Both are fresh off the back of massive medal success in their respective disciplines at the World Champs in Scotland.

Sammie took Gold in the Women's Under-23 Cross-country at the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships while Byrony was part of the Women’s Team Pursuit that took silver at the 2023 UCI World Track Cycling Championships as well as her bronze medal in the individual pursuit.

Bryony is a member of the NZ Track Cycling Team, has competed in two Commonwealth Games as well as the Tokyo Olympic Games. This year, she's taking on the Round The Lake at the Lake Taupō Cycle Challenge.

Sammie is our local powerhouse mountain biker. She’s a three-time defending XCO National Champion, the 2022 XCE and XCM National Champion, and now the 2023 UCI Under-23 Cross-Country Champion! 🚵‍♀️ Sammie will be back taking on the Lake Taupō Cycle Challenge again this year.

Hosted by Libby O’Brien, Taupō local and long-time Lake Taupō Cycle Challenge participant, the Facebook Live will be sure to be filled with plenty of inspiration as they share their journey, experiences, and insights into the world of cycling! They'll also be answering YOUR questions live during the session! 🤩
