New to mountain biking, looking to hone your skills or just get out there and have a blast? Look no further than the Huka Teaser. This epic 30km adventure race is perfect if you’re looking to get out there and have an awesome time among like-minded riders.

Forget weather worries, the predominantly pumice-base tracks means you’re good to go no matter what the weather throws at you.

Get set to experience some of the region’s iconic landmarks as you whizz by including; AJ Hackett Bungy, Huka Falls, Aratiatia Dam, and alongside the steamy silica thermal stream at Wairakei via the Taupō Rotary Ride track.

The final leg will provide you with outstanding views of Lake Taupo and the mountains beyond before you descend to the finish line via ‘Acid Drop’, across the mighty Waikato River and the iconic MTB bridge, which is erected especially for the event.

The last push takes you past the Taupō Marina before crossing the finish line back in the heart of the town centre where you can celebrate with the thousands of other MTBers and roadies back at the event village.

The course is made up of a mixture of Grade 2 and Grade 3 tracks.
