COVID19 Statement

Dear Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge supporter,

Thanks for visiting our website. At this stage we are still planning to hold the BDO Lake Taupo Cycle Challenge on November 14, 2020

Whilst we are excited about being able to provide you all with the opportunity to participate in our event in November we are also very mindful of the long term implications of COVID19 and the impact it could have on mass participation events in the future. We will not run the event if it puts anyone at risk.

Our plan is to open entries on July 1 but again we will wait and see how things progress before asking you to sign up.

We are thinking of our riding community in these times, and hope that level 3 allows you to get out on your bikes more.

Stay at least 2 metres away from anyone else

Exercise and ride as close to home as possible and stay within your region.

Mountain bike on known trails if you are an experienced

Don’t do anything to put yourself or others at risk
